Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) organized thematic workshop on Assisting Members in Non-Legislative Business for the Newly Inducted Officers of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretariat. A total number of twelve officers attended the thematic workshop. The Program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by welcome remarks by Director Parliamentary Development Program Mr. Waqas Ahmed Qureshi who also presented Program overview of the course.  Worthy Executive Director PIPS, Mr. Muhammad Anwar who conducted detailed sessions on Assisting Members in Non-Legislative Business and Secretary (Retd.) Senate Secretariat, Mr. Iftikharullah Babar discussed the Powers and Functions of Committees as well as role of Secretary Committee. The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony by Worthy Executive Director, Mr. Muhammad Anwar and Director General PDP, Ms. Samer Awais.
